Silva said CSSC is an internationally renowned company and we are pleased to work with CSSC on the development of the SEZ in Saint Vincent Island. During my meeting with Premier Li Keqiang the year before last, I briefed him on the development project of the SEZ in Saint Vincent. Saint Vincent has a unique geographical location, with clear advantages in the development of the marine economy. The Cape Verdean government hopes to link up with China's "Belt and Road" construction to promote Cape Verde's marine economy through the implementation of the project, thereby radiating the whole of Africa. Cape Verde is socially and politically stable and has a sound legal system, able to provide a good environment and protection for investors. Silva believed that with the strong support of the two governments and the joint efforts of all parties, the development project of the Special Economic Zone of Saint Vincent Island will be able to advance smoothly and all parties will be able to achieve win-win results.
The two sides fully exchanged views and reached agreement on accelerating concrete cooperation in the development of the SEZ in Saint Vincent.
Responsible persons of the relevant departments and relevant member units of the headquarters of CSSC participated in the meeting. (Wang Zhihui)
